Pours hazy orange, the color of blush on a peach. Tall head of soft, eggshell colored foam that dwindled to a layer on top and some creamy lace. Nose is fruity and juicy with peach and orange citrus. There's a playful bite on the nose from the simcoe hops and a little pepper. Underneath is good bready malt that's honey sweet. Taste is light and fruity with floral hops, peach, melon and orange peel. The cracker and bread are sturdy but light as a feather and carry all that fruit over the palate with ease. Finishes with another bite from the simcoe on the back palate and dries with a sticky, sweet aftertaste and a touch of hop bitter. Body is creamy and although well carbonated, it was downright silky.
This beer wasn't short on hops at all and the hop character was intense but without oil or too much bitter. The simcoe never got catty and the bread, while sweet, never outclassed the fruit. Easy to see why Sixpoint was #1 at the NYS TAP festival. So far each offering is unique and expertly done. This was a graceful interpretation of a cream ale that drank easily and with a little panache.

Poured into a glass.
Had a noticeable head.
Nice brown color.
Hops were definitely present! This does not taste like what I'm use to with a "blonde ale" More on the IPA side.
Overall a good beer to try. Easy to drink, and refreshing to the palate

A: Pours a hazy amber to brown color. Decent head at pour. Some spotted lacing present.
S: Malts defintiely present.
T: Great flavor - some mild hopping, malts acting as a slight sweetener through the middle, with a cream finish towards the end.
M: Medium body - decent heft to the brew for this ABV.
O: Enjoyable.
