Black Cannon starts well enough with a full rocky crown and a broad wash of lace. The body is deep brown with flashes of ruby in direct light. But flavor comes in short supply with only a modest tail of roasted grain showing any distinction. The aroma at first smells inexplicably like cotton balls pulled from a vitamins jar. The rest of the beer simply feels thin – possibly with a very low alcohol content.

Innocuous and mild mannered.
