Arrived here on a busy Friday night. Same location as the old Ross Valley Brewing. That place was pretty good, this place is better.

Atmosphere was crowded, and very family friendly. A bit stale, and a few babies crying. But not unpleasant at all.

Service was good. Our server was a bit slow at times, but it was really busy, so no problem.

They had about 8 beers on tap. A nice wide variety, the two I had were solid and tasty.

Food was good, and the portions were large. My "half" salad was more than enough for me. And the soup was tasty and filling.

Prices were fair.

I'd have no problem going back... a nice little place.

I have a problem with Iron Springs- I have to pass it on my way to and from just about anywhere from my house. If I'm on my bike coming back from a ride or in my car on the way home from work; it's there. The other thing about this place is that 99% of the time, there are at least ten people there that I know.

Oh, yeah, and then there's the beer. I have yet to have a mediocre beer at Iron Springs. In fact, that is the biggest problem- it makes it hard to pass without stopping for one or four. On the serious side, service is friendly, food is good solid Pub fare- I rate probably a little lower than most because I'm a little tired of it and spoiled by where I live.

I will never tire of Casey Jones Imperial IPA. All the beer is excellent and rotates seasonally. When Casey Jones is out, I am never disapointed, The Crippla' and Epiphany are also standouts as well as the regular IPA. Atmosphere is very warm; it is a hangout for cyclists, families (Tuesday night Kids eat free) musicians and artists, as well as sports fans at the bar. Oh yeah, did I mention the beer? Craft Beer Kegs at BevMo prices- Growlers for $10 bucks a refill. So, as much as complain about this place- I spend a lot of time there with friends spending my money in the community where I live. That's not so bad.

Located in what appeared to be a type of plaza, the place is interesting. The employees are friendly and knowledgable about their beers. The regulars and locals are also friendly.

At this point I was kind of wasted from the previous places I visited today. I do recall padded booths and maybe some chairs; wooden tables, chairs, and bar (I think). Kitchen was in the open and viewable from the bar and dining area. Restroom was clean.

Service was friendly and prompt.

Good selection however no cask, I think the bartender said the cask (handpump) device was brought in on certain nights for their cask beers. Notables were the IPA and their hoppy amber.

The food was good and cooked on a real grill.

reasonable
