Aug. 2016: 330 ml bottle, vintage 2016, at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Black colour, large tan head. Nice aroma of moderately roasted malts, exotic woodwork, chocolate and vanilla. Smooth flavour, notes of roast malts, mild coffee, chocolate, vanilla and oak. Should not be drunk too cold.

A deep brown clear beer, a tan small head leaving good lacing and good curtains.
Smelling of sweet chocolate, eggnog and dried fruit.
Starting with sweet strong coffee, then toast with fig marmalade and vanilla sponge cake.
Little carbonation, soft and sticky, a light dry finish.
A nice sweet porter, should maybe be stored. 2011 Vintage.
