Miller Lite is much like any other macro light beer. It tends to have a very clear, pale, golden color with a sweet smell and no real head to speak of. This beer's corn-like flavors aren't nearly as offensive as some of the others, and just like its chief rival, Bud Light, it has a refreshing carbonation. The overall effect is still a struggle and I really don't understand the point.

If BMC are my only choices, then I'll go for a Miller Lite, but in this day and age of $6-8 beers at sporting events, I'm reaching more and more for water and leaving the beer drinking at home and at pubs!
Triple Hops Brewed must mean three (and only three) hops in each batch of beer... Better taste than it's counterparts from AB and Coors, but not by much. Carbonation level seems annoyingly high.

Of all the mass produced American light beers, it's my choice. It is what it is. If you have a choice at a party go with Miller Lite. It has slight beer flavour, unlike Keystone, Bud Light, Busch Light etc. Very easy to drink in excess, enough flavor to keep you satisfied.

This is probably my least favorite of the mass marketed light beers. Way watered down. nothing to it. not enjoyable. only drinkin this if i'm playing some beer pong or there is nothing else left. Having said this, it is what it is, a light american beer that people like to have a good time with. This is fine, but I'd rather have a Bud.

Poured out of a 12 oz bottle. Looks about the same as any beer you'd usually play pong with. Thin and clear straw yellow color. Not much head.
Smelled slightly of grain, and alcohol. Not much hint of anything worth looking forward to. Not horrible though. Just bland.
Tasted about how it smelled. Very plain with a hint of alcohol. Not very impressed but it is great for drinking games I suppose.
Very watery feeling. Goes down just as easily as a glass of water. I would have no problem pounding one after another if I chose too.
Overall a typical cheap beer. Nothing special but nothing awful either. Good for what its worth. Not my first choice though.

Obviously a popular brand. I have always felt any kind of light beer taste pretty similar. Had it out of a draft came out looking pretty bright. I would put it slightly ahead of the majority light beers. Goes down easy obviously pretty smooth but not really my kind of beer. Would drink it occasionally at a party or small gathering because it isn't too expensive.

I had one of these for the first time in years the other day. Now I remember how bad it is.
I wouldn't drink this swill again if it was the only thing available. I can't even think about drinking this without getting a headache, especially on draft.
It's like three quarters water, one quarter beer. It smells almost as bad as it tastes. I have a friend who drinks this stuff religiously. Every time I go to his house, he offers me one, and every time he does, I politely refuse it.

This is one of the few times that I have tried this beer. The first few times the taste seemed to repulse me but today it had some what of a more welcoming taste.
A- Color was present but not great. Something to expect from a light beer.
S- Smelled like a cheap beer. Nothing really jumps out.
T- Not over powering, maybe a little on the watery end. Isn't harsh on the palette. Again nothing jumps out. Good to drink while doing some form of activity, in my case fishing.
M- Light carbonation, not very thick.
D- Easy to drink. No harsh after taste and light carbonation make this an easy beer to enjoy when looking for something to drink and not to satisfy a craving.

Presentation: Tapped
You may not be the biggest fan of American Domestic big name brewers but you cannot doubt the power they have held over the beer market and that is for a reason. If you take a taste test with a draft Miller Lite and a draft Youngs DB Chocolate Stout, you would be surprised at how tasty that Miller Lite actually is, when paired together on tap. It is supreme in it's drinkability yet a unique taste of corn/straw/malt lingers and quickly diminishes after each sip. I enjoy this beer as a session beer anytime of the year. Unlike with Bud Light and Corona where I can not just pop one open.. Well I would need a lime to take the Corona - And if beer pong or flip cup are in play, then Bud Light has a chance of consumption on my part.
So back to this Miller Lite:
Smell is of corn and malt.
Mouthfeel is slightly carbonated with punchy hints of barley and a slight tinge of corn again - And the corn is growing on me! Ever since I saw Field of Dreams I've wanted to live and co-habitate in corn fields; as well I've wanted to live in a forrest with Eiwoks and cruise on hover boards in a future time zone...but that is for another day.
This Lite beer is not a LIGHT beer it is a little bit different and it's golden flow is pristine. Feel the crispness sooth your need for a lite and fulfilling beer, just as Youngs DB Choc. Stout fulfills the need for it's own purpose.
Appearance: A golden god. But if I had my choice, which I do, I would go past Miller Lite and onto the High Life, especially when taking the 12 pack.
And if I was in a different store ready to spend, I might even move onto a craft/micro brew of choice with a similar golden light feeling but perhaps with some more hop twist involved: see: Prima Pils from Victory Brewing or the Lagunitas Pils.

12oz bottle. Well, I'd call this extremely below average for a light lager. This is actually the worst of the Big 3 light beers, which is sort of like saying that Scottish terrier crap is the best tasting variety of dog crap. Wait, what is this? "Triple-hops brewed" with a "great pilsner taste?" If I'm rating to style, I've got this all wrong! This beer is obviously intended to be a world-class pilsner with a prominent hop character. With that in mind, let's do this, shall we?
Very pale yellow color, white head. Somewhat fizzy and soda-like.
Aroma? What aroma? Did my nose suddenly fail me? Oh...it must be that faint corny smell. A little sweet grainy malt as well. Not being terribly offensive saves this from a 1.0. Where are the hops?
Lots of corn in what little flavor there is. Pilsner? Not even close. The massive hop additions they claim seem to have brought this beer to about a whopping 10 IBUs. Less taste, less filling.
Watery and light on the palate. Not nearly as clean and crisp as a great pilsner.
Drinkable? Sure, but so is water. My overall impression on this beer though is not a very good one.

Serving was a 12oz can.
Appearance - Yellow like that stuff that come out... well you know where. Wins a bonus point considering the effervescence is the most excitement you will get out of this package.
Smell - Metallic and cabbage once you get close enough.
Taste - Boiled cabbage and other vegetables. A corny aftertaste is the only redeemer here but it's still not pretty.
Mouthfeel - It's like a crappy soda water with some funky off flavors.
Overall - Drink and swallow. Letting things linger in the mouth just tend to make this unpleasant experience even worse.

The clear amber color pretty much describes this beer. The intial and amorma is almost a skund beer that made the batch. Most mbe served ice cold to have any reedeming value. The head has a acrid bitterness to it that is not at all appealing. Overall a beer to avoid unless desperate.

I remember drinking this beer in college to get drunk at clubs. After living in Munich for awhile and returning to the USA and drinking this beer in a bar, I am glad that the main Bavarian breweries still honor the purity laws for beer.
It tastes like water from an impure well, but it is also alcoholic and you will start to feel dizzy when you drink enough of it. Its virtue is that it is more palatable than some other domestic beers sold in the USA. That is about the end of it...

This is a true American classic. Note, American. This is as domestic as you can get, but when you cannot afford those great expensive beers (or when you get to that point that you cannot tell the taste) this is what you go for. If ever in Milwaukee, I highly recomend the tour of Miller Brewing and the free sample of this beer. The fresh clean taste will make you have a new appreciation.

One must be crawling in the desert to be thirsty enough to drink this watered-down skunky horse piss.
Appearance - right out of the toilet: worthless head pale yellow - weak piss.
Smell - weak and skunky.
Taste - well, it's supposedly less filling. Very weak, but what taste there is is sour.
Mouthfeel - you must be kidding.
Drinkability - only if very thirsty or very drunk. Otherwise, clean water is superior.

Why do we even rate beers like this? Shit beers like this should be banned from websites like this....bland, boring, and commercial driven. Anyone that actually gave this beer a high rating should not be here. Not even an exceptable beer Sunday football, or tailgating. It would be great if products like this just went away....

A lot of people are acting like beer snobs. This beer is what is. It's not meant to enjoy while sitting at dinner or while watching tv late night. This beer is for people looking to act stupid and get blacked out. And for this it is good. It's not a beer I would choose to drink but it has its place and is a clear leader in piss water category.

This is one of my favorite beers. Sure it's a macro so it's not exceptional but is definitely my choice to take fishing or tailgating. Of course there is better beer, but for an American lager it's one of the elites. Much better than Bud Light and the silver bullet.

Miller Lite, I am not ashamed to say, is my goto light adjunct beer. I define Light as less than 100 cal/serving.
I am not saying that Miller Lite is a good beer. Miller Lite serves one purpose only - drinking to get drunk. Taste and appearance are secondary.
Anyway, Miller released a new CO2 powered home tapper plastic keg. I picked one up and gave it a try. Miller Lite is always a bit better served on tap than in a can or bottle, and here the home tapper delivers.
I agree with every other reviewer on tasting notes. I think Miller Lite is more drinkable than other lite beers though. If you have a plate of habanero hot wings in front of you, or are hanging out at a barbecue in the heat, ML can hit the spot. It fits a niche for me now, unlike my college days when it was always in stock.

The rumors are true; this is an awful beer. The first thought that came to mind was beer flavored water; this beer is so pale that it almost looks like water. This is a very light beer that tastes downright bad -- or for that matter does not really have much taste at all.
This is beer for those who do not like beer, the only time I would ever drink this beer is if it was offered free of charge (free beer is always good).

Keeping in mind the category (Light Lager), Miller Lite is a very good beer. In fact, it is almost the epitome of the American Light Lager class.
It looks very nice with a golden color and has a very light, but distinctly lager taste. On a hot day, it is perfect and highly drinkable. On a cold day, it is a bit thin.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pilsner glass.
A - Pale yellow in color with a fast receding white head. Lots of carbonation.
S - Some grains, mostly corn, and not much else.
T - Nothing much here. Very watery with a small hint of grain. Virtually no bitterness.
M - Feels very much like sparkling water, only slightly less carbonated.
D - It goes down easy, but only because theres not much to it. This is basically for people who want something cheap to drink all night, but don't want the beer flavor.
In its defense, I would choose this every time over bud or Coors light, but thats not saying much.
