Miller Lite: let's do this.

A - The very definition of average. Absolutely nothing wrong with the pale golden look. Rarely any head to speak of, but that's not really a bad thing with this kind of beer. Mostly unremarkable.

S - I'm rating this sub-average not because of any bad scent; rather, there just isn't much to it. No pleasant notes, a little bright maybe.

T - OK, where do I begin? How do you rate a BMC brew as "average?" Compared to Bud (Light or Heavy), or other standard mass-market pilsners, I rather enjoy Miller Lite. One vote for above average. Alternatively, there isn't much flavor at all. I mean, at all. Very mildly hopped, no malts. No sweetness. Extremely drinkable, though; I can enjoy a ML on tap if there's nothing but big-market domestics available (by contrast, I will NOT EVER drink a Bud). Even though it's not a particularly good beer, it's better than the AAL competition; it should be obvious that this is quite simply not on par with a Bavarian pilsner or craft brew.

M - This could be worse (stirring endorsement, I know). There isn't much to speak of with respect to coating the mouth. However, it goes down fairly smoothly if you're drinking by volume (which is what this beer is made for, let's be honest).

O - I echo my "taste" writeup. This is not a great beer. This is not a particularly good beer. However, this is a drinkable beer, and I find it far superior to its primary competition (Bud). It's not my go-to, but I can drink it on tap.

Not created for presentation this beer has a poorly finished color of pale yellow. The head was thin and fleeting.

Typical adjunct scent for the style there was a slight corn scent.

Tastes like watery malts with no discernible hop flavor. Adjunct flavoring mixes with a corn/maltiness it is easy on the palate and stomach. Very typical for the light beer genre it's obviously create for mass appeal, so it does its job.

I thought Miller Lite was actually a very good beer the first time I tried it in a small bar in Menominee, Michigan. It was served in a standard 12 ounce beer glass. I really liked the taste of the beer. I was able to notice the flavor of the hops within the Lite beer. The mouthfeel and texture were very smooth. I will have this beer again in the future.

I remember drinking this beer in college to get drunk at clubs. After living in Munich for awhile and returning to the USA and drinking this beer in a bar, I am glad that the main Bavarian breweries still honor the purity laws for beer.

It tastes like water from an impure well, but it is also alcoholic and you will start to feel dizzy when you drink enough of it. Its virtue is that it is more palatable than some other domestic beers sold in the USA. That is about the end of it...

This is the worst beer I have ever had.

Only a half finger head, and light yellow in color

Smells like Rice and corn.

Only tastes are of corn and booze

Mouthfeel: feels like a beer flavored soda

This is not at all a pilsner beer; use this to cook brats.

Not much of an appearance with about a 1" head that quickly disappears. Smells like watered down...water beer. Taste like a normal american pilsner which lacks much flavor or imagination. Really crisp and tastes pretty much how it smells and looks. Let's face it, this is a drinking game beer so leave it for the tailgates or beer pong. Unless of course it's free, then the "free beer" rule applies.

Obviously a popular brand. I have always felt any kind of light beer taste pretty similar. Had it out of a draft came out looking pretty bright. I would put it slightly ahead of the majority light beers. Goes down easy obviously pretty smooth but not really my kind of beer. Would drink it occasionally at a party or small gathering because it isn't too expensive.

If you told me this was iron water and not beer, I would probably believe you.

A: The clearest yellow I have ever seen. Already, I can tell I'm in for a very watery beer from the mere color. Fizzy.

S: Slight smell of hops with airy grains. Ricey.

T: A light cereal hop and malt flavor which quickly dies, incredibly watery. No aftertaste what-so-ever so at least it goes down quick and I can forget my shame.

M: Fully carbonated but hardly no flavor retention or body. Very watery.

O: This comes pretty damn close to the very bottom of my list of hads. At least I didn't die drinking this, so I guess that's a plus. I don't have too much to say about this beer on the positive side except for the fact I would accept it someone bought me one. It's a drink, and one that you can drink, but don't call it a beer. Extra .5 to overall on the fact that I would accept it if offered.

I had this on-tap at Wedges in Janesville, WI for $2 for a 12 oz glass in Fall 2011.

Pours a pale yellow color with a light fluffy head. Scent is very earthy and grainy with hints of yeast. Texture is very thin. The taste again has a very earthy taste of grassy grains and corn. I wasn't expecting a great taste but this was the only beer on tap I hadn't had at the bar yet so I gave it a try.

served in a pint glass as my local dive...

A - A beautiful shade of piss yellow, with millions of fizzy little bubbles... seriously, these beers look like carbonated pee...

S - Despite the fact that this was served on tap, it still captures the metallic, corn type smell... man, this is gonna be rough..

T - wound up finishing the pint in about five gulps with the hope that I could move on to my next brew.. Very metallic...

M - I get more of a body from a Dr. Pepper

I know I've been dogging this product, but in all reality, it's not the worst of the BMC products...

Served on-tap.

A: Very light gold. Clear crisp look with topped with a white-foamy cap.

S: Skunky. It was fresh from the tap but it smelled like it was stale.

T: Watered down. This was extremely watered down. I do not usually drink light beers but this tasted more like flat mineral water than beer. Hard to identify a particular taste.

M: Felt like drinking water. Left my mouth rather dry. Had to wash it down with a soda to get rid of the after-taste/feel.

Overall this is not a good beer by my standards. I hate slamming beers but this just is not a beer I would ever drink again or suggest to anyone. It lacked taste. I am a fan of full-bodied beers so that probably is why this lacked flavor.

I had this on draft because my local bar had nothing but BMC and so I caved and bought one with my burger. When I got it, it just looked like your basic boring beer. After drinking tons of craft beers, this beer is ruined. As I drink it, I cant stand the taste at all. It was like drinking cow piss to me. I get about two ounces into it and told my buddy he can have it if he wants. There is just nothing about this beer that is any good at all. It is a joke and I cant belive I even wasted 2 dollars on such garbage.

had to have this beer for several times tonight, thought I should review. Poured from tap into a pint, frozen pint even. Looks, smells, taste, like everything I dislike from a beer. The only good thing I can say is that the head retention is quite nice. But the head doesnt cover the taste or aroma.
NOt the worst beer I've had, but one of hte worst I've had lately.

This was free at a Lansing Lugnuts game. Have not had a Lite in at least a decade. Really debated reviewing this beer, reviewing macrobrews has the same snarky "dig me, look how far I've come" vibe as 12-year olds loudly playing in a little kids playground. What the hell, I'm snarky. Here we go.

Pours a faint yellow with a lot of meringue-y head on it. The smell is weak, weak, weak, thin, grainy.Picking up a hint of....MEOW MIX?

OK, here we go, down the hatch. Uch. Cheap grains, corn, rice....Is this what Meow Mix tastes like? No hint of alcohol. If a single hop was harmed in the making of this beer, I'd be very surprised. God, this is awful. But is also free, and would like to get a good buzz going. Must keep drinking. I guess I've stumbled on to the secret to Lite's success.

Thin and unsatisfying, obnoxious champagne bubbliness.

If you are reading this review, you are probably doing so to see if I make fun of Lite, and you don't need me to tell you it's a shitty beer. But I will say it anyway, Miller Lite is a shitty, shitty beer.

Out for a chicken wings experience in Idaho Falls, and the 'craft beer' menu on the patio table sure seemed anything but...

This beer appears a clear, pale straw colour, with a thin cap of anemic white head, which leaves a bit of sparse streaked lace around the glass as things are glugged away. It smells faintly of sweet, almost sugary, rice grain, and a bit of dull acetone. The taste is more thin, sweet husky rice, oily, non-warming alcohol, and a bit of spectral skunky hops. The carbonation is moderate, the body thin and watery, the smoothness bang-on for the marketing committee. It finishes clean, a hollow airiness washing away any (albeit mild) remnant of what I just swallowed.

Not bad, it's pretty much spot-on for the style, an acceptable enough accompaniment to the boneless hot wings special, here in 'mehrca...

I saw a sign that said 'free beer' when I purchased my wild boar burger at Fuddruckers so I took the chance to review a beer I would not pay for. served chilled in a clear plastic cup.

The color is golden, darker than I would have imagined, very clear with a thin white cap and fast moving bubbles. The smell is pretty tame, not really offensive as much as just faint. The smell does come off as slightly metallic as it gets beyond chilled closer to room temp. The feel is very light, so watery it is very carbonated and airy like corn-pops in the malt texture, just kind of a seltzery feel.

This taste is again as the smell promised, not much of anything - nothing terrible except the fact that it seems almost flavorless, gentle adjunct-type sweetness and slight hint of spice which could just be the high carbonation tricking my tastebuds. Overall I can't imagine a beer I would like to drink less of -just seems like the only thing it was good for was cleansing my palate after an order of chili-cheese fries.

Not bad. Not too smooth, but a good appearance. Easy to drink and not bad price. I would take i over most light beers but by no means is it one of my favorites. Can get it anywhere that's why I have it most of the time. Smell wasn't too bad either. Overall pretty average.

A- Pours a very light gold with a thin white head that recedes quickly leaving just a few bubbles.

S- Extremely weak all that comes through is a bit of pale malt sweetness.

T- Similar to the smell there simply isn't much here and what does come through is one dimensional light sugary malt. There really isn't much to write here as there isn't a whole lot, no off flavors at least.

M- Thin and watery but with a good carbonation. Nothing special but what one would expect from this style.

D- This beer has a feel, smell and taste all like lightly sweetened water, leading it to be capable of being consumed in large amounts but nothing interesting enough to keep me coming back.

On tap at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA.

Pours a clear light yellow color with a 1 inch white head that fades to nothing. No lacing whatsoever. Smell is of watery grains and corn flakes. Taste is also of watery grains and corn flakes. Isn't this beer supposed to be triple hops brewed? I get no hop aromas or flavors at all. This beer has decent carbonation that makes for a crisp and clean mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty poor beer but not as bad as some other light beers out there.

I've been consuming this on tap for awhile, since becoming 21.

Appearance: Well, you know? It's normal. Very clear, golden. Hay colored to say the least.

Smell: Not much going on. You really have to focus to get a whiff of anything. I mostly get corn from it and a slight malt flavor. I'm not really smelling any hops with this one.

Taste: Very light...woops sorry, I mean lite. I mean what do you expect? Predominately corny, very little malt and the slightest hit of used up hops graze the tongue at the end of the drink. It's a lite beer and that's what you have to expect.

Mouthfeel: Carbonated to high heaven. Almost burns my tongue. You know what though? I like it. It fits the beer very well. Beer goes down pretty easy and I end up doing about 7 or 8 of these before I call it a night...at the bar.

Overall. If I am at a bar that only has Budweiser, Coors, and this on tap, I will almost always go for this. Unless the Budweiser is actually Budweiser and not Bud Light. Actually wait...idk. Is there a difference? Miller Lite is ok but not worth the price to buy it by the pack. Better off with something cheaper like Strohs, Old Milwaukee, Schlitz, Milwaukee's Best, Blatz, or Pabst.

Got this on draft at a family owned mexican restaurant. One finger head and your typical light golden hue.

Aroma was light and grassy.

Taste was a wee bit of malt with virtually no hop flavor at all. It's a little better than some of the other brands of lite beers but not by much.

Mouthfeel was watery and typical for your mass produced american lite beer.

Nothing to write home about here, it is what it is. An easy to drink beer when it's cold but only a little flavor.

Millier Lite looks good enough: clear light yellow color with a very small head. The carbonation is very active, the head disappears quickly leaving no lacing. I didn't notice any distinguishing aroma. The taste is mostly water, with all flavor surfacing after the beer has been on your tongue for a while. What you do taste isn't bad, but it isn't anything exciting either. Swallowing is easy and enjoyable enough. Better than most light beers.

Im using almost the same reviews for American style light lagers

not gonna bother with serving type,
Im not the type to bash beers, for a company so successful, they can be given at least a respectable unbiased review, true beer drinkers are quick to bash american light lagers, but some are good for certain times, i cant sit at a game and throw back IPAs, or bourbon aged beers, but a light lager with a hot dog and peanuts on a hot day isnt so bad. Im a big beer pong fan, wont play with a $20 bottle of brooklyn black ops, now a review

Very pale yellow, white foamy head that can fade quick, light body mostly cause of using sugar and rice to keep the ABV up, the only way i can descibe the aroma is "beer" hops are faint just to make it enough to call it beer, Miller is among the best for this style of beer, its my "go to" when i go somewhere and dont wanna ask or think of a beer to drink, my dart game beer

Pours a piss yellow. Clear lots of bubbles and a tiny bit of head. Smells pretty non descript like malted corn. No triple hops on the nose... Tastes bland and unimpressive. Corn, sweetness, not much else going on. The slogan on the poster at the bar is "can you taste it?" To which I answer... No. Decent mouthfeel and as drinkable as any other shitty adjunct lager I guess

Typical light beer. What else can you say.

Pale in color, not much of a head and lightly carbonated. Not much taste either.

Easy to drink. Much better than Bud Light.

Would never be my first choice, but if I am at a bar or party, and they are serving up pitchers of Miller Lite, I will happily drink it.
