De color anaranjado, y casi sin espuma al servirla. Ligera y de carbonatación alta. Aroma afrutado y en menor medida cítrico. Sabor dulce. Poco compleja pero refrescante.

I absolutely love this product and I constantly check my nearby stores for it. I haven’t seen it in a year though and I just drank the last can I had saved from the last batch I bought.

I dislike most alcoholic beverages. They're either too sweet or too fizzy, most make my head pound 20 min after drinking them. Not my Redds Mango.
It's strong enough for 1 to give me a little buzz, I'm a small person, and I don't need another. They don't give me that bloated feeling and they taste Amazing! It's the only thing I drink that contains alcohol.
I don't like regular Redds, I also don't like the taste of beer. The wine I prefer is moscato or Sweet Riesling but they make my head pound. This Redds Mango is just prefect for me! I hope they never stop making it!

It's fruity. It fucks you up. Not a bad summer drink, if you don't like really strong, hoppy beers.

24 oz. can
Served in a nonic pint glass

This beverage pours amber in color and is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves no lacing or trace of its existence.

The aroma is mango and apple. It smells more like a cider than a beer.

It tastes like a mango flavored cider. This is an ale?

Thin mouthfeel

It is a refreshing beverage on a hot, summer day. I would prefer a 16 ounce can. Twenty-four ounces is a little much for this particular beverage.

At 8 oz. and 8% (16 proof) and the sweetness, this ale is not for continuous elbow bending. I have found that it is at its best by making a "cocktail" with it. Here in the USA I mix a can of Redd's Wicked Mango to a can of Busch or Busch Light (4.0% somethings) and that creates a Buschango. While in the Bahamas I mixed with a Freeport brewery product Sands and ended up with a Sandango. Give it a try especially during warm days. It is just right!

Clear gold but also seen to have some nice copper tones in an off light on the glass with tons of carbonation bubbles and just a lacing of white head that dissipated very quickly.

Smell is sickly sweet mango fruits, and I love it! Yes this smells like a mango factory but a damn fun one. Bubbles actually popped against my nose.

Taste is very sweet on the mango and not much else.

Feel is a carbonated fizzy drink with a relatively dry finish.

Overall I do not find much of any kind of "beer" in this "ale". What I find is a very refreshing fruity wine like drink that has a very nice warming alcohol background.

Poured from a 25 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear golden color with absolutely no head what so ever. The aroma is well, sweet mango. The taste is mango. this brew is made for one thing. . . to impair. it does it very well.

You know how I like my beer? "Refreshingly hard." Anything else just doesn't cut it.

8% ABV. Came in a 24oz aluminum can. $3.00 USD at a bodega in Brooklyn. Brewed June 06, 2016.

APPEARANCE: Copper body of average vibrance. White thin head with abysmal consistency.

AROMA: The mango puree aroma isn't as artificial as I feared, though it doesn't quite evoke actual genuine mango. At least it's not overtly artificial or syrupy. Apple cider, pale malts, cheap malt extract, a blip of a metallic off-note.

I think I find something like canned cherry pie filling? Maybe I'm just crazy.

Aromatic intensity is average. Suggests an overcarbonated thick beer with low drinkability but an okay taste.

TASTE & TEXTURE: Saccharine, with sweet booze-ridden mango puree right at its sickly sweet core. Overcarbonated and thick without quite being syrupy. Apple cider comes to mind. Candied and cloying. Caramalt, pale malt, cheap malt syrup. Really off-putting fare.

Smooth, wet, unrefreshing, medium to full-bodied.

OVERALL: Devoid of balance or subtlety of execution. Redd's Wicked Mango is an artificial mess of a boozy brew - a beer for the Mike's Hard Lemonade/alcopop drinking crowd. Discerning drinkers will find little of value here, and I find myself wondering if blending this with some of the stale flat PBR in my flatmates' fridge will be a good idea just to thin it out a bit. Yeah, I think I'm going for it...

High F (1.72) / AVOID

I have a great location here at Chez Woody, fronted by a porch that overlooks one the major northbound thoroughfares here in Lancaster, PA & out my back door & across a short parking lot, is a six-pack & bottle shop. They are not the greatest, but they do fill a niche & the access CANnot be beaten. I picked up this gigantor 24-fl. oz. CAN from them.

From the CAN: "Refreshingly Hard Ale".

The Crack! was unnervingly loud & I could not bring myself to even attempt an inverted Glug. That, and I would have needed a crane to even attempt it. A standard Glug produced a brief finger of fizzy, bone-white head that fizzed quickly out of existence. Color was a solid Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9) with NE-quality clarity. Nose smelled really nice. The label suggested mango atop apple, but the nose was all mango! A glance at the CAN revealed: "Ale with Natural Flavors and Caramel Color". It would be pretty obvious if it were artificial mango, I would think. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was really amazing! I got the sweet-tartness of mango along with a light coconut sweetness & a slight apple tartness. Man, but this really a) hit the spot & b) transported me back to Olongapo City, Philippines c. 1986/'87 and my version of Carmen Miranda. She was a local honey with whom I really hit it off. She was the one who fashioned an entire outfit out of fruit, allowing me to nibble it off of her. Mango is a sticky mess & we were glued together with mango juice at one point. This drank much smaller than 8% and I was really running through it before I looked up and realized what I was doing. Finish was, once again, in that twilight zone between semi-sweet & semi-dry. Mango is not an outright sweet fruit & when coupled with apple, which often becomes tart when fermented, you get a fence straddler. My only caveat is its ease of drinking at 8%. Sure, we all say that we are responsible drinkers, but a couple of these going down real easy & you could be in trouble. Just keep an eye on it and maybe limit yourself to just one.
