From what Westminster has to offer, this place isn't so bad. I like their selection compared to most places in Westminster. It has a general selection and then some surprises every now and then that I really appreciate. I don't go in there that often, but it really is a decent place with a decent selection. They need something special however, to make them a go to liqour store in the area. Overall though, this place does well in it's beer selection. Maybe some other big name breweries from around the country would be fitting.

I go to this place quite a bit because they tend to get some better selections of the harder beers to get a hold of. Some of the people there know what they are talking about the others only think they do but hey, at least they try. It is a bit pricey, a lot of times they have the glass sets available and for a great price so I guess that balances it out a bit. They tend to focus more on their high end wine and liqour but that leaves the beers fairly un-picked over. This is the only place I have been able to find trappist beers in westminster and they keep there stuff fresh.

Drove here from PA. Took about 1.5 hours. Came out from the middle of nowhere into a clusterfuck of shopping centers. Traffic was insane on 140. Finally got to the store and was unsure if I was there (no CRANBERRY LIQUORS sign was present, although it was the only liquor within Cranberry Square Shopping Center).
Small store, but stocked with all your alcoholic needs. I was there on 12.9.06 so it was during the busy Holiday season. I went straight back to the beer coolers where lots of stuff resides. Lots of eclectic stuff that I've never seen in PA. Lots of warm stuff too. Was nice to buy in singles. Reasonably priced all the way through, especially for older vintages. Spent $230, didn't regret it. One of the older women (of about 25 employees running around) asked if I needed help but when I tried to be jovial she walked away while I was talking to her. Some of the women watched me like a hawk, probably thought I was stealing. Nobody had a clue, or offered advice for the beer. The cashier was friendly but crammed my stash of $6-$15 beers into boxes (upside-down, etc.)
Tons of LIQUOR selection.
Dom Perignon Rose ($500), Large Champagne Bottles, 6 Liter of Belvedere (NFS), Tons of Brandy/Cognac, lots of hard-to-find stuff

It's hard to justify giving a favorable "selection" score to a place with as many beer fridges as Bart Simpson has fingers. However, with a shelf devoted to vintage beers and a cooler stocked with a few hard-to-find treats, they've got an interesting niche.

I was able to pick up some Fou Foune and some reasonably old vintage Thomas Hardy's, including 1994 and 1997. Apparently someone else had come in about a half hour before me and bought most of both years, so I was left with only a couple. Nonetheless, that was something of a pleasant surprise.

I don't want to, but I will let you in on a little secret. This is the place to go if you are looking for Thomas Hardy Ale. They have an okay selection of beer, but it is the only place that I know of that carries a varied selection of this treasured ale. I picked up 9 or 10 different vintages, while I was there. Some are nip sized, some are the larger bottles. They had as far back as '88 and they had up to the last Eldridge Pope bottling in '99, though they did not have every vintage in between. I traveled an insane distance to get here, but it was well worth it.
