A - Darker, rich amber color with a creamy whitish head. Great lacing throughout sample
S - Hoppy bitterness up front with a maltiness that follows with some roasted characteristics
T - Hops right up front as suggested by aroma, but they are more floral in nature rather than cedary/piney. Great rich malty flavors as well.
M - Creamy and smooth (no carbonation really given cask sample). Dryish
D - Superb in this department, and have no criticisms. High in both taste and overall appeal.
Overall, very good stuff. Traditional bitter/pale ale nature, but certainly more inventive and interesting.
