What a gem. This place is gorgeous. Traditional bar including full wine and spirits license plus all of Brewmaster Brain's offerings. Food variety and quality shines through from Chef Matt. Fireplace in an intimate bar area with plenty of flat panel televisions. Large game room with 4' x 8' regulation size pool tbales, shuffle board table and many electronic arcade games is great for kids.
This is a really nice place - much nicer than the original "Fox." Easy to get to off of Royersford Exit of U.S. Route 422.

A very nice sister location to the one in Phoenixville - tables are nicely spaced apart, but the bar itself is quite cozy. I just wish they had chosen something other than white for the ceiling (But that is a minor quibble). Though an agreeable red and dark wood predominates the bar area. . Service was attentive and courteous without being overbearing, even though they had a very busy night (was there for the Rob't Burns beer dinner). Both food and beers were good, with a good variety of each to choose from. Definitely stop by (or drive to visit) you won't be disappointed.

An amazing, amazing establishment, first and foremost. The Mrs. and I made the venture to Royersford on 01.15.05 for a late lunch/early supper and were not disappointed in any way, shape or form.
The appearance is almost, at least on the outside, like an Old Country Buffett, nestled into a seemingly meaningless and non-descript strip mall in suburban America. All of my questions ended right there. This place is clean, cozy and sharp without being over-pretentious. The feeling is warm and soothing in the main dining room, especially when sitting next to the fireplace. The bar area, albeit a bit smallish, is comfortable enough, to be sure... We were greated promptly and seated swiftly. Rebecca, our server, was attentive and knowledgeable, although I did not quiz her ad nauseum on the brews like I normally do to defenseless individuals...
First, the food. The menu at the Royersford location offers an incredible menu, which made it very difficult to decide what to have. We shared a bunch of food, including the Chipotle Pub Wings, which were extremely tastey and highly flavorful. I had the meatloaf sandwich on the foccacia, which was hearty without being overly rich. My wife had the Brisket Sandwich - silly me, I always watch someone else eat what I should have had...lol. Dessert included splitting the Sinful Chocolate Cheesecake, which was rich, creamy, decadent and delicious.
Now on to the important items...All of the beers offered at the Royersford location are well-crafted and really are staples of their respective styles. Of note from my consumption of their beer menu was their Pikeland Pils, Route 113 IPA, Odessey, O'Reilly's Irish Stout and Royal Weisse... not to mention the Christmas Ale and Grand Opening Alt, both of the latter were extremely delicious in their own right.
A comfortable establishment overall, even after supper, my wife and I hung out for a bit, played a few games in the arcade and then made our way home...
In sum, it is hard to believe this place is a mere 45 minutes away from me... This could be the beginning of a beautiful relationship...
Many, many thanks to BAs "rotsaruch," "spesh," "Venom" and "therealbeerfly" for pointing me in this direction... It would be a pleasure to buy each of you a brew for this recommendation...
