Cask into a pint glass at Bodega on 4/26/12
Lightly cloudy honey amber color. One finger cap of bubbly foam drops slowly. It looks pretty so far. Retention is very good - about 50% throughout. A thick wall of small bubbles cling to the glass.
The aroma has a smooth, sweet cracker malt note with hops aplenty up top. Tropical with a touch of piney green. Pineapple, mango, peach and nectarine. The aroma favors the tropics over the forest as it warms.
The taste is a let down compared to the aroma (and compared to how this tastes on tap). Tropicalia is diminished criminally in favor of earth, dirty tea leaves and a long lingering medicinal bitterness.
The feel is a lighter one. Carbonation is low and smooth. However, there is an earthy grittiness that makes for a terse feel.
Overall impression - Not totally bad, but I'm not convinced the cask benefits hoppy American beers. Shrug. Get this on tap instead.

We ate here again last night. There arent many chances to drink cask ale so when places have beers on cask I will almost always go for that. Last nights cask ale was Blurry Bike IPA. The waitress said it was one of their more mild, drinkable IPAs.
A- Brought to the table still sustaining a one finger high, densely packed white foam head. It stays around surprisingly long for a casdk ale. It left all sorts of lacing. The beer is a gorgeous glowing orange. Its pretty cloudy and unfiltered looking. Already a very inviting beer.
S- Sweet and citrusy. The smell matches the look. Lots of tropical fruit, oranges, pineapple, grapefruit, marmalade etc.
T- It is a mild IPA but that is really what I wanted. Sweet citrus fruits win out over top of some biscuity malts.
M- You can really feel that this was served from a hand pumped cask. The body is smooth and silky with barely any carbonation. The finish is very clean.
D- I drank this beer faster than I realized. It is a very solid beer. A good one to have with a meal as it wont over power your food, or to just sit and enjoy in the nice spring weather. This beer is highly recommended.

A- hazy orange with a white head that sticks around for awhile.
S- nice amount of fruity hops on the nose
T-something wierd is going on here. I can't quote put my finger in it. Weird blend of hops leaves for a not so clean finish
M-mesium body and smooth
O- decent beer but I think something was up with it...

Poured @ Alehouse at 467 N. High St.
Served in a standard pint glass.
A: Hazy, golden yellowish orange. Nice head that settled to a small ring/partial cap with sticky lacing. Nice start.
S: Fantastic combination of hops, citrus, grapefruit, pine, floral, some slightly weak spicy hops. Malt is quite weak compared to the hops, but some sweetness from the malt does shine through. The hops are AMAZING in this one. I hope it doesn't let me down.
T: Holy crap Batman! This one is huge, goes from straight bitter piney hop, into orange peel, into caramel like sweetness from the malt, into another round of grapefruit, into toffee, into a dry and slightly bitter finish. This is FANTASTIC.
M: Slightly oily, decent carbonation. Not bad.
D: Oh my God yes. Very drinkable. Taking a growler home. Amazing beer.
If you are in Columbus and have the chance to have this, DO IT.

Picked up a growler of this from Barley's on the way through Columbus. Took it home, and now I'm drinking pure deliciousness.
appearance: hazy bright copper
aroma: plenty of hop aroma, including earthy, herbal, citrus, and grassy plus a small bit of crystal malt
taste: yummy goodness; touch of malt sweetness followed by the hop bomb of flavors
mouthfeel: a bit soft on the carbonation; this would be divine out of a cask; it is pretty damn good straight up on tap
drinkability: I'd like to drink this all night long, and then some more tomorrow
