Appearance: Dispensed a lightly hazed, rich amber-copper body with, well, no head.
Smell: Sweetish nose, smelling of bready, toasty German malts with touches of spice and pumpkin that it reminiscent of their perennial favorite, the Seven Sisters Münchn--oh, I'm being told it is the Seven Sisters Münchner with pumpkin. Okay, it all makes sense now.
Taste: Well toasted bread crusts blotted with dots of sweet table sugar. Low caramelized quality present. Has a nicely notable pumpkin flavor. Lightly spiced hops aided perhaps by a pinch of characteristic spicing. Sweetish, bready, pumpkinesque finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Fairly smooth mouthfeel.
Overall: I always enjoyed the Seven Sisters Münchner and find pumpkins to generally be agreeable. Put'em together and you have an enjoyable, agreeably pumpkin-based lager.
Serving type: on-tap
