hazy amber with a decent head. Smell was a muted hops, with definate hints of grain and even a slight caramel. Taste was a bit thin, but had a definate sugary touch to it. Hoppy dry finish with a tiny pine bite. Very drinkable. Overall this was a decent beer, I could see this being served in large numbers as it is very smooth and very drinkable

A: Amber red, tan head about a quarter inch, but lasting.
S: Grainy and non-pungeant hop. Fairly clean, nothing overpowering.
T: Clean and almost a juicy quality at first followed by a muted but lasting hop that goes into almost a dry finish. There is a grassy and grainy body.
M: Juicy and smooth, dry finish.
O: Glad I tried it, but would not get it again.

A- Dark amber, almost a brown, bright yellowish, creamy head. Head is persistent with steady carb. and thick persistent lacing.
S- Strong caramel malt scent, a bit sweet. A light molasses in background.
T- Sweet, then into a near-perfect blend of malt and bittering hops. fantastic aftertaste mix of all of these.
M- Light to medium,perhaps a bit thin.
O- Very nice. I've always appreciated this one a bunch.

12oz bottle into a pint. It appears an amber brown with an orange hue of clarity around the edges. A finger of tan froth sits atop and as it fades, stringy lace sticks to the glass.
The smells fruity and floral with toasty caramel and toffee grain supporting as the base. All in all a nice aroma until a bit of sulfur comes out in the back that clashes a bit with herbal hops.
The tastes of herbal hops is forward with fruit and rind elements. A bit of bitterness couples with toasty grain and a yeasty quality somewhat musty and earthy towards the finish.
This is a medium bodied brew with a modest level of carbonation. It is easy drinking and a fairly nice take on the style. I could have done without the earthy musty character but who knows how old this offering was.
