Poured from a 12oz bottle into a glass
A: Pours a clear, straw color; similar to a macro but with just a tad more depth. There is a bubbly white head of 2 fingers which dissipates into a cap of foam very quickly. Also worth noting is that upon opening, the beer foamed over slowly for a few minutes. I set the bottle down on the counter, left the room, and when I came back it was still slowly oozing foam.
S: Smells of grass and blueberry. Also mild notes of lemon and yeast.
T: Mild lager flavors. Blueberry is definitely present but fairly mild for a beer labelled as blueberry. Light malt flavors and a bit of spice I cannot place make up the rest of the flavor.
M: Thin, bordering on watery with a good amount of carbonation.
O: Meh. It's a blueberry lager and no more or less than what you would expect from such a label.

One of my regular go to beers that is widely available in the area. Appears slightly darker than most lagers but overall nothing special. The smell and the taste is where it really gets me; full blueberry that dont come across as too sweet or too syrupy. one of my favorite locals and great to try when your in the area.

A- Pale, uber Zinfandel-straw hue into my pint glass, one of the clearest beers I have seen. Fizzy head dies down fairly quickly. Small ring leaves only a few spots of lace.
S- Big blueberry notes off the top. Pale malt, bread and sweets along with them, faint strength.
T- Less blueberry forward than the aroma and more lager heavy. Pale sweet malt, bread, lager yeast are all noticeable. Feels a bit artificial like a soda here, which I didn't get from the aroma.
MF- Crisp, light body with a somewhat creamy feel. A tiny tartness in the finish.
These light fruit lagers always remind me of both beer and soda, very light and sweet. It is really refreshing in this heat but not something I would go around telling people to buy.

Large bubbled head, but it recedes slowly, leaving no lasting lace. The brew is clear and straw colored.
Nice, fresh blueberry aroma. Smells closer to a soured fruit punch. Closer to soda pop than beer smell.
I note clove and all spice in the background. Lightly sour. Very thin bodied with a high level of carbonation. The blueberry shows up only in the swallow. The aftertaste is short. No hop bitterness that I could perceive.

bottled 1/13/11
pours bright clear golden yellow with a big 2+ finger head - not great retention but left some spotted lacing
smell - you guessed it blueberries not much else
taste - before i opened this beer i thoughtthe idea of blueberries and beer was a bad idea but after the nose and the first few sips... i was wrong - this tastes like a blueberry muffin - tastes like blueberries with a little cream and sugar - my how i was surprised but this works it really does
mouthfeel - light body decent carbonation - very solid for the style
drinkability is where this takes only a slight hit - yes somehow a blueberry beer works and i enjoyed every sip - however there is no way i would ever be able to make this a session beer

Recieved a growler of this as a present. Poured extremely pale with a decent pure white head on it. No lacing on the glass at all. Has a slight berry aroma to it with traces of lager also. Has a slight tart blueberry taste to it, not to strong though. It's extremely drinkable. This is no heavy beer at all but is great to drink in copius amounts. I'm not a big drinker of fruit beers but this one is one of the better ones, seriously.

Do we really need beer like this? One thing I can say the body and mouth feel of this beer is far better than any other 'fruit' beer out there. Very artificial blueberry flavors, if you like that fake booberry cereal this might be right up your alley. One of my friends had this at the brewery served in a frozen glass, I just had to try it, glad I didn't pay for it.

Draught @ Southampton: This one pured a slightly hazy, very pale straw yellow color. There was a small white head on it with no lacing. There was not much of an aroma. There was some blueberry and some grassiness. The taste is definitely light also. There was some blueberry taste, with a weak lager as the base. It was served with small blueberries in it. Refreshing, but not too much to it.
