Had on tap at New World Tavern. Served into a pint glass
Appearance: 1/4 inch head, golden in color, clear, moderate carbonation
Smell: berries, honey, peach, and holiday spice
Taste: honey, peach, bread, holiday spice, and light berries
Mouthfeel: moderate carbonation, medium bodied, sweet,
Overall: An enjoyable winter beer. Nice bready body with a lot of other flavors going on here. The alcohol sneaks up in this one. I would get this again, but would not rush out for it.

Pours a cloudy orange body with a bright fizzy white head that withers away to a thin white lace.
Smell has a bit of a ripe fruitness to it. Apricots, plum and peaches. Very malty and a oak like undertone.
Lot's of flavors clashing. Sweet malts, peaches, apricots and dates. A bit hoppy and bitter. Also an oak and bourbon presence. All pretty well balanced. Taste is very fresh.
Mouthfeel and flavor get a lot better as it warms. Creamy and bitter, not too overly carbonated but done so just right. Pretty drinkable at 7.50%.
Overall i'm glad I picked this growler up. When fresh, this beer is delicious. A cheap and easy decision to warm you up in the winter time.

On tap at the Horseshoe Pub in Hudson, MA.
Pours a clear, but slightly opaque orange tan body with a nice bright white head.
Smell on tap is hard to make out.
Taste is medium bodied with a firm malt backbone. Very much a strong adjunct sort of taste mixed with a big english strong ale. Lots of fresh cut grain and somewhat creamy. Really rather non descript, just malty and simple without any strong hop or malt flavors. Not bad.
Overall a really hard beer to describe. 7% abv beer. No strong english touches, no strong american either. Sort of just.... There. Very drinkable though.

A solid brew. Pours a cloudy medium yellow with nice, lasting lace. Smell is fruity (peaches and bananas) with nice malt undertones. Taste is sweet, malty on the front..then a blend of tartness and fruitiness..nice hop blast on the finish. Mouthfeel is smooth, somewhat creamy with a nice dry finish. Very easy to drink.

Thanks to hopdog via ppoitras for this
Appears a hazy light gold with a small white head that slowly fades out.
Smell is of peach, apricot, spices nutmeg, oak, vanilla.
Taste is of the same aromas. Nicely blended in a creamy blended brew.
Mouthfeel is sugary, oaky, slightly fruity, and well balanced.

Screw-cap growler filled at the brewpub.
First imperial pint pours with a 1/4" off-white head, over the clear medium amber brew. Lazy bubbles lose the replenishing battle eventually, but the head lasts okay, with average to good white lacing. Aroma is balanced and subdued, yielding a somewhat generic impression. Taste is quick malt sweetness upfront, which hops gradually erode down to a nice balance, or even tipping toward the bitter slightly. Close is ever so lightly warming. Mouthfeel is smooth and soft over the tongue, and drinkability is dangerous for a strong ale. Another nice product of Dan's brewing.
