Basic liquor/wine/beer store set up. Nothing fancy decor wise but clean and well lit. I had just spent over $100 while stopping in at the other location, but I still found $30 worth of beer at this location that was not availible at the other one. Not quite as good as the other, but still pretty dang good. lacks the temperature controlled Belgian room and seems slightly less beer focused, but still a very good place to pick up some brews. There isn't much more to be said about the place other than that it has slightly less product than the other Green's location in Atlanta.

I go to Green's on Buford quite often. It's in a convenient location near 400 and I85. Plenty of parking and decently clean on the inside, but certainly nothing special.

I've never really had any problems with quality here. The IPAs are generally stored in the coolers, which is nice. Everything else is quite far from any sunlight.

The service is generally solid, but not particularly knowledgeable. Most times there is a guy there, I assume a manager of some sort, that will help me find what I need if I ask.

The selection is quite amazing. There is a great Belgian selection along with other imports (HUGE Mikkeller selection). The craft selection is equally as impressive. This place probably has the best selection on any given day in the city of Atlanta (sorry, Hop City - you're the "go to" for so many people your stock runs dry pretty quickly for the more sought after beers).

If you know what you want, this place is great. You won't find great service here, but it's certainly better than the Ponce store.

This was my second trip to this location. The selection is very nice and the prices are good. There were alot of folks stocking the shelves when I was there this time, which made it somewhat difficult to look around at my own pace. However, I like this place and will go back very soon. Their selection of Belgians and Euro beer is one of the best I have seen around. I stopped in here after visiting the one on Ponce which was a totally different and interesting experience...I will not explain as of now, but will review that location shortly.

Trekked over into the madhouse of Atlanta rush hour traffic to stop by this place to look around... Dangerous as hell to get in and out of, for sure... At rush hour, it's like rolling the dice pulling out of this place...

Selection here is vast and varied... A huge wall of Belgians with several brews I'd never even heard of...Lots to choose from but I didn't see any "must haves" if you will...

I did pick up a super fresh sixer of Two Hearted, a couple of Allagash brews, and an Older Viscosity... They had a load of Mikkeller and Nogne brews as well as several selections from Founders, Bells, Great Divide and several others...

An impressive place but I think I liked Tower's a bit better. This place is great, don't get me wrong, but I drove a long way and wound up buying more over at Tower's than I did here..

So this will be one more Green’s after here and I think I have them all. I have to say I am very impressed with the Atlanata stores. They just seem to have soo much more to offer as opposed to the South Carolina locations. It most likely has to do with the amount of time they have had to get their shelves stocked versus ours but wow these stores are nice. Went in here to get some sweetwater and was more then surprised with what I saw as far as breweries they carried. Laquinitas, Terrapin, lots of vintages of Thomas Hardy, and tons of other imports. There was just a ton of good brew here. Prices were great as almost all the Green’s stores are. The staff was actually quite knowledgable (after I found the right staff) and was more then happy to look things up and even give me suggestions as to when different things would be in. This was my first stop in Atlanta but I really cannot see anything topping it. This was a nice big store with a huge selection and really good prices, I mean seriously what more could you possibly ask for right? If we could only get the kind of selection they have here up in SC I think we will be all good. Great location and just a definite must stop on next drive through.

We stopped into Green's to stock up after the SEC Championship Game. I have to say it was a great store to stock up on great beers that we couldn't get in Louisiana. I picked up some excellent ones: Three Philosophers, Brooklyn Dark Chocolate Stout, Nostrodamus, St. Bernardus, Rouge Brutal Bitter, Caracole, Great Divide ales, and many others.

The prices were awesome. They kicked the crap out of any place in Louisiana. They sold Abita cheaper than I can get it in Louisiana (by about $3!!!) Overall this place has got a great selection and even better prices. If you gotta stock up and you are in or near the ATL, it's easier "feeling Green's."

Dropped by on a Saturday afternoon. Place was crowded but not packed, and the beer area was empty. Good selection of both imports and domestics. Found some Ten FIDY and Gordon which was rather exciting. I was a little dissapointed with the lack of American craft singles. Tons of single imports which is nice, just not what I was looking for. I also picked up some Lagunitas as well. Service was good at the checkout stand but nobody in the beer section, which is usually fine with me. Prices seemed very reasonable and it is even a little cheaper if you are paying with cash. Good place to drop in on.

I stopped in on a business trip to Atlanta. They sell all sorts of liquor and the beer selection is well represented. They have a good variety of beers from Belgium, Europe and the US (with a focus on the local southeastern US breweries). I decided to stop in after I saw they had Lagunitas Sonoma Farmhouse Hop Stoopid and was glad I did.

Green's is clean, well organized and pretty extensive. The prices are reasonable and the have a cash discount which Visa and MC must hate. The service seemed average although I didn't really give the opportunity to improve or reduce that impression.

I don't know the Atlanta market as a whole but Green's is certainly a good place to start.

Pretty much the same beer selection as the Green's on Ponce, but this is overall a smaller, cleaner, less crowded store. They don't have the walk-in Belgian room, but the shelf on the back wall has plenty of Belgians. Lots of singles, but some stuff is unfortunately only available in 6 packs. Very dangerous parking lot exit onto Buford Highway.

Overall it's tied with the other Green's for being the second best bottle shop in town. Head over to Hop City in Midtown West if you've only got the time/money for one stop.

First place we hit in Atlanta on this last trip there. We thought it was a nice store, had clean restrooms, which one needs after driving in the Atlanta traffic. LOL, anyway Nice beer selection, great Belgian beer selection, more beer than we had funds for. No service but then I did not need any, and was glad to be able to spend 30 minutes looking without some one bugging me to be honest.

My only bitch is checking out. it seems they do not read bar codes, but have to enter in the brewers name, and this poor lady took 10 minutes to check us out, I was not too happy with how long it took and I was the only one checking OUT??? anyway I would still go back. price higher than Total wine but then again TW never had this Belgian selection ever. At least not in store in the SE I been too.
