Another beer I had initaly. Has a very nice bottle shape and appearance. It has corn in it, so it’s probably the first thing you are going to smell in this beer. But they haven’t overdone it, like in other beers that contain corn. It has a golden-straw color, with normal white head. You get a malty-corny taste. And a similar finish, maybe a bit watery too. It’s a simple lager beer. Not bad, but nothing really special too. Worth a try.

The bottle reads "100% puro malto italiano"(100% pure italian malt.) Ingredienti: acqua, malto d'orzo, luppolo(water, barley malt, hops.)
There is NO corn in this beer.
33 cl green bottle poured into a footed pilsner glass.
The carbonation looks extreme. Lots of bubbles rushing to the surface and retaining a fairly big head. Yellowish golden color, of course extremely clear.
A simple, grainy aroma, a touch of sweetness. Maybe a slight hop note in the background, spicy, but it's certainly underneath the graininess. Not all that inviting, but certainly not offensive.
Not much going on on the palate, but it's slightly sweet and, as in the nose, grainy. A little hop spiciness finds it's way through. Simple, but really not bad. Much better than expected, though there is a discomforting aftertaste that picks up as you go along.
Goes down easy. Not as carbonated as it looks, but that aftertaste that is so common to mass produced pale lagers knocks down my enjoyment of this. That said, I'll probably pick this up for some bbqing or parkside, riverside drinking this summer, in large part due to the favorable price(5 euros a 6-pack, or about 1.15 for a 66 cl bottle.)
Very fresh bottle, which probably helped reduce the skunkiness from the green glass.
So much better than the standard Birra Moretti, which is a disaster.

33cl bottle into a snifter.
Yellow gold with an inch of dense white froth. Solid retention and scattered lacing. Cereal malt with a touch of biscuit in the aroma. No hop character to speak of. Touch of corn. Lightly sweet grainy and biscuity malt flavor with a low bitterness and a dash of corn. Perhaps a little orchard fruit. Clean, abrupt, dry finish. Lower medium body with high carbonation. Not a bad beer. I could see this being good in certain situations.

Yellow color, quite intense, some bronze reflexes. Strong carbonation. White, average foam.
Malty smell, cereal, a bit of hop. Not bad, for an industrial lager.
Malty taste too, quite full, some perceptible hop.
Rounc, bodied, without defects. But also without any real interesting point. Drinkable.
Malty aftertaste, with cereals, and some hop.
Honest.

66cl bottle of green glass (feck's sake...) served into a Trappist Westvleteren goblet in Rome, Italy. Standard pressure cap lid. Reviewed live with Italians cooking sizzling vegetables in the background speaking a language I don't understand. I suppose this is how the beer is meant to be experienced.
A: One finger of soft delicate cream, good thickness, and average retention. Colour is a clear transparent dark yellow. Appealing because it's beer. Man like beer.
Sm: A lot more malt than expected to me chagrin. Clean barley underneath, but no cream. Not a good aroma, but thankfully only mild in strength.
T: Malted barley is all I taste. Some cream comes through on the finish, and the barley stages an uprising on the malt during the climax, but it's simple and uninspired. Built badly. Balanced. At least the malt is not as badly handled as in some of the Spanish macrobrew lagers.
Mf: Smooth and wet, but a bit thick and lumpy. Doesn't really feel at all tailored to the flavours of the body. Mundane.
Dr: It's easily downable, and it's cheap as all fuck. Quality is highly limited. This is a student beer in polite terms.

660ml bottle, you only find this in italy and that is not bad for you
A- Light gold. No head at all, maybe just a little hint while pouring
S- Odd smell. Bitter hops but also slightly sour. Strange but not good, looks like a fake aroma
T- Little tasty. Not that there's any bad taste, it only has a decent hop flavour
M- Bleagh. Too much carbonation. If you live it in your mouth for more than one second this beer starts to hurt you. You'd better drink this as quick as you can (or you'd better not drink it)
D- It's not even that much drinkable. If you leave it in your mouth it feels bad, if you drink it quickly it is almost like water
Just in case i have not been hard enough: when a beer is really bad it gets you dizzy even if it has a low alcohol lew, this is one of those

330ml bottle served in a pint jug.
A: Pours a golden and clear yellow color forming a medium white and bubbled head
S: Sweet grains and Heineken flowery hops, mainly. Lager brady yeasts
T: Strong taste of grains. Slightly sweet malts upfront. Considerable hoppy bitterness which is quite citrus and grassy Heineken style
M: Light body and reasonable carbonation. Malty and hoppy aftertaste
O: Medium drinkability. Not a big deal

Ok beer. Decent really, although nothing special. Poured with some white head that settled down to nothing quickly and a bit of lace. Color was a clear amber. Aroma is common world beer: malt & hop. Ok body and carbonation. Short finish of the flavors. Session.

Pours a pale golden straw color with about 1cm of white chunky head that sticks around for a while. Smells of lightstruck noble hops, a little citrus as well. Tastes of lightstruck noble hops as well, a little malty, but mostly it's the hop flavor. Might be good if it wasn't in a green bottle, but I review it as I get it. Mouthfeel is fairly heavy, but fizzy. Overall, it's drinkable, but not as much as it would be if it weren't so damaged from the green bottle. Damn marketing depts.

From my notes 6/10/07 pours a two-finger white head that vanishes to a ring, leaving no lace. Clear amber color. Slight hoppy nose. Light-medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor is balanced with a slight bitter finish. 4.8% ABV. 11 ($15.07) for a 330ml bottle from the Gran Caffè Chioggia Venice, Italy. Yes it is expensive, that's 30 bucks for two beers, this is the big restaurant right on the corner in St. Mark's square in Venice - avoid. Vendors along the canal have cold beers for 3.
