A - A yellow/ golden color with low clarity. 1 finger of sticky head and just a touch of sticky lace on the glass
S - Tangerines and grapefruit. Bittnerness. Not as hoppy as most IPA's on the aroma front, but definitely showing some hop love
T - Citrus and orange up front, but packs a bitter kick at the end. Nice malt backbone to balance it out.
M - High carbonation but light bodied.
O - A good IPA for sure, but not the best in Asheville. I rate Pisgah as the best brewery overall in Asheville based on their other beers, such as the Solstice. But a good beer nonetheless

On draft at the brewery.
Poured a hazy orange hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was very good retention and lacing.
The smell featured a very fresh citric and tea like hop aroma alongside a soft doughiness.
The taste consisted of piney and city's hops atop a slightly grainy pale malt. A touch of sweetness noted as well.
The mouthfeel was toward the softer side of the style.
Overall a very nice IPA. Super fresh sample.

On-tap at the brewery as part of a flight.
Appearance is a dark orange with a small off-white head. Smell is lots of sticky tangerine hops and malt sweetness. There is a bit of oldness in the taste, perhaps from the malt? Strong medium weight body and nice IPA spicy/sticky mouthfeel.
An average IPA.

Enjoyed on-tap @ the Mellow Mushroom in Asheville, NC for $5. Tapped from an unknown tap handle (ordered from table) & received in a 16oz Pint Glass.
Aroma- Has a huge grassy and nice hop aroma. Very sweet and good for the style.
Appearance- Received with a .5 finger head that has average retention. Has a dark reddish/copper colored body with semi hazing. Leaves thick lacing behind.
Flavor- Medium hop flavor from the beginning with well blended citrus, pine, and fruity flavors. Medium hop bitterness at the finish. Not as sweet as the aroma but more of a dry finish.
Mouthfeel- Medium-Full Bodied, Lightest Carbonation, Smooth, Creamy, and goes down like warm nectar.
Overall Impression- Not sure what they keep the temp. of the kegs but the semi-warm presentation of this IPA made it even easier to appreciate the beer. Would love to see this again in another beer bar here in Asheville or even @ Pisgah (yet I'll be drinking other Pisgah beers if making it there). Get some of this!

Thanks to Ryan011235 for sharing the growler.
A - Dark copper color, but from a distance it almost seemed like a rose color. Pours with a tall dark sandy head, leaving moderate lacing.
S - Light malting and mild pine aroma. Ultimately lackluster compared to all of the extreme dry-hopping so many IPA's endure these days. While this alone doesn't discount the viability of the Pisgah IPA, it does downplay its impact, and force it into the middle of the pack.
T - Bitter pine, spicy hops, and mild honey flavor. Finishes really weak with a herbal flavor component akin to chamomile, lemon, and grass.
M - Medium bodied feel. Semi-dry.
O - Not bad, but nothing very memorable either.
