This was described as a "Harvest Ale" on the board, the bartender didn't know if it used fresh hops or not. I'm guessing that it's a riff on Goose Island Harvest Ale. Amber body, a thin head of foam on top. Good clarity, but average head retention and general appeal. Slight sweetness to the malty nose, but it's also sort of funky from the yeast. Biscuit malt and cereal grain flavors, similar to Fat Tire, but with a mild bitterness in the finish. Fairly carbonated, but it felt like it lost steam a bit towards the end. A fairly ho-hum session ale.
