On tap at Red Car Brewery in Torrance, CA.

Pours a clear light orange with a foamy bone colored head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt and grain aromas. Taste is much the same with a grain flavor on the finish. There is a very mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that is drinkable but nothing exciting.

Draft, consumed at brewery on 01/07/08.

Clear light gold, nice carbonation.

No aroma.

Almost banana flavored and not as sweet as feared. Maltiness is subdued and not very corn-like (a nice departure for brewpub "light" styles) and some welcome though fleeting hop notes at the end.

Better than average, though not outstanding.

A: Clean, medium gold color with slow moving bubbles. Only a film remains on top with an off white ring.

S: Copper, corn pops and dried hay

T: Begins slightly metallic with subtle corn sweetness. Moves towards grassy tastes with lurking bitterness. Finishes really grainy, unfortunately.

M: Light body with a soft mouthfeel.

D: Nothing special but it suits its purpose I suppose. Really drinks like it smells

On tap at the brewpub. I approached this with caution - I assumed it was the standard BMC clone many brewpubs produce to appease the masses. Imagine my surprise when it actually had flavor! Color is a nice golden, with a thin head that left a good lacing. Very crisp and refreshing, with a clean grain taste. Just enough hops to give it a nice dry finish.

This one is brewed with a special purpose, to enjoy it with any type of food you eat. The look is a rich golden blonde with a mild head. The aroma is a mild sweet malt that is pleasent to your senses. My main attraction to this was the taste, Im not really a light type of beer drinker, but this one is probably the most flavor of the bunch. Having a light look it has real mellow but rich malt taste and distinct bite that craves for more. The ABV was low in my experiences which convinced me much more, very refreshing and a crisp delight I can honestly say this one can be a good thirst quencher.
