Poured into a flute.

Appearance: pours a partly cloudy amber with 1/2" light orange head.

Smell: smells average honestly, fruits and ginger (like a baked gingerbread cookie) but not a the smell which hugs your nose.

Taste: I would have to say it's a huge jump from the smell, it's slightly spicy. Taste is still in the roof of my mouth which is incredible.

Mouth: medium carbonation, super smooth to swallow. Not such bubbly beer but incredibly tasty.

Overall: pretty good, definitely a "need to try beer" but DFH has made better. I really like Pangaea but not for everyone. If you want a "Belgian" ale try this don't keep it...if you drink them on the regular you know where to look.
