Enjoyed this for the one and only time at the DFH Brewhouse in Rehobeth Beach, DE

Served in snifter glass. Serving size was 6-8 oz (I can't reacall)

A - A deep amber color with no head at all. When you swirl the beer around in the glass, you can actually see the beer stick to the sides. Appears rather thick/syrupy. Small amount of lacing left on the sides of the glass.

S - The alcohol is very present but a citrusy, piney and malty smell is also there.

T - Wow! This is a bold, bold beer! A mixture of cirtus, pine and malts that are really playing second fiddle to the alcohol. it is actually very sweet, almost too sweet. This is a true sipper.

M - Very thick and syrupy. Reminds me of the consistency of an after-dinner brandy. You can really feel the alcohol burn.

O - Glad I tried it but honestly the portion I was served was about all I would want to drink. I actually had a 12 oz. 90 minute before drinking this and after just the small serving of the 120, i needed to hand the car keys over to my fiance. It's a beer that is nice to try for the novelty of the 18% but not my favorite offering from DFH. Still worth a try just so you can see what all the fuss is about.
