Notes:
Too extreme to be called beer? 120 Minute IPA is brewed to a colossal 45-degree plato, boiled for a full two hours while being continuously hopped with high-alpha American hops, then dry-hopped daily in the fermenter for a month and aged for another month on whole-leaf hops!
120 IBU

On tap at amherst brewing company rare beer week. 2011 vintage.
Looks hazy amber, great lacing and very inviting
Smells subdued, slight hop aroma which is surprising considering what this beast tastes like
Tastes like honey, flowers, citrus and has slight ethanol in the background due to the high abv. The malt is apparent but is drowned by the absurdly delicious hops. Fantastic and somehow balanced in its extreme ways
Mouthfeel has good carbonation, zing from the hops and alcohol. Enjoyable.
Overall a phenomenal beer. This is good out of the bottle but fantastic out of the tap! Wow. Will be ordering more of these in the future. Cheers!
