This beer poured out as a deep brownish red color with a thin white head on top. The lacing is thin along with the retention as well. The smell of the beer is bready and yeasty, not much else besides the yeast and some faint aromas of dark malt. The taste of the beer pretty bitter upfront, there is a minimal malt sweetness but the earthy/spicy hops dominate much of the flavors on this one. The mouthfeel of this beer is average, it's highly carbonated and I believe it should be for the style but it's just a very dry beer. Overall it's not as good as Cypher in my opinion which was a similar exclusive at the pub.

A: Pours a really deep ruby brownish color. Thin layer of off white head. Leaves lacing sheeting. No alcohol feet at this low a level.
S: Like the online description reads, this is more like an English mild than a Saison. I get those biscuit like malts more so than that 3 major hop varieties. I wish that I was able to get more hop. Some yeast spice is there.
T: Much like the nose, this drinks like an English mild ale. Although, you do get that hop presence more in the taste. On the tip of the tongue, some bitterness. Some earthy hop flavors, some citrus too. Then those biscuity malts. Dry finish. Very easy drinking.
M: Light leading to medium.
