Notes:
My Antonia (named after the Willa Cather read), is a continually-hopped imperial pilsner. This lager for ale lovers is citrusy, sweet and refined.
My Antonia started out as a collaboration beer when Sam brewed it at Birra del Borgo (hope you can read Italian) outside Rome, Italy, with owner/brewer Leonardo DiVencenzo in October 2008. In 2010, we began brewing My Antonia here in Delaware for U.S. distribution.

A - Light golden body pours with a substantial head that leaves a bit of lacing.
S - Grainy aroma with herbal and citrus hops as well as a bready yeast. All well balanced.
T - Wonderful flavor, hop forward with flavor combining the herbal and grassy characteristics of the noble hops and light fruit and pine notes from the American. Bitter throughout, ends dry and full of American hop flavor.
M/D - Light carbonated body makes this perfectly refreshing. Too bad I'm drinking it during a blizzard and not a sunny summer brew day. Overall great beer, shared it with some friends and they all like it as well. Totally hides the 7.5% alcohol.
