For those that are expecting a big beer (like I was), you may be a bit disappointed. This beer is very good, but it can't really be considered a big stout, imo.

A: Black body with 3 finger mocha head. Lots of lacing. Body looks a little thin, as I pour it into my snifter

S: Roasted malt, some sweetness, but not too much going on.

T: It's quite delicious. It appears to me that they took your very standard stout (which isn't a bad thing) and added honey and gesho (whatever this is). I also taste some dark chocolate, coffee as well. The taste actually matches the body (which I will explain next) very well. Everything about this beer is subtle but tasty. Very slight alcohol taste is present.

M: It's very smooth and creamy. It almost feels like an irish dry stout or an oatmeal stout (maybe somewhere in between the two). This body texture matches the taste very well, I thought. Medium amount of taste for medium amount of body. And somehow, they managed to hide 9% alcohol behind this relatively thinner and weaker taste beer.

O: Unique stout for sure (I have never had anything like this before). Don't think I will be buying it again, but it was a great beer to try. For the amount of money I paid though, I was expecting something a bit bolder (and a bit more in-your-face).
