In honor of the 40th anniversary of the original release of Bitches Brew, Miles Davis' 1970 paradigm-shifting landmark fusion breakthrough, we've created our own Bitches Brew -- a bold, dark beer that's a fusion of three threads of imperial stout and one thread of honey beer with gesho root. It's a gustatory analog to Miles' masterpiece.

Pours a pitch black body beneath the dark mocha head that quickly dissolves to leave thin yet consistent lacing.
Aromas of sweet and roasted malt float from the glass. A hint of smoke appears with touches of chocolate. Ther is also a hint of honey sweetness as it warms.
The flavor consists of roasted malt, hints of licorice and a bitterness that I assume to be the gesho root. Hints of cocoa also exist and hints of smoke similar to the aroma.
Fuller in the body with generous carbonation and a full palate that lingers in the after taste for some time.
Tis is a great DFH example of the traditional imperial stout serving up much for the senses.
