Many thanks to larryi86 for this 750ml bottle, poured into a shaker pint. Has batch info of 2011 1C.

A- Pours a hazy golden amber. Moderate pour produced slightly under half a finger of white head. Head dissipated into thin lacing that stayed throughout the drink. A hard pour produced about a finger worth of head. Moderate lacing on the glass.

S- For being dry-hopped, I was surprised that I wasn't blown away by hop aroma. There is plenty of citrus hops (grapefruit and hint of lemon) and some bready malt, but nothing overpowering. Also a slight grassy smell came through as the beer warmed up.

T- What was lacking in the nose came through on the palate. A blast of grapefruit at the front merged with a sweet caramel malt and bitter rind taste at the end. The sweetness at the end reminded me of honey, but not in any large quantity. The lingering bitterness was more sweet than mouth puckering bitter.

M- Medium body that was slightly under-carbonated. With more carbonation, all the flavors would bite that much more. Has a nice lingering quality.

O- I really enjoyed this beer even with its faults, maybe that is why I enjoy it. The taste is dead on for me, and the abv is not high enough to make drinking a bottle by myself impossible. I will gladly drink another and look forward to trying a different batch to see if this one was under-carbonated.
