Notes:
Aprihop is an American IPA brewed with Pilsner and Crystal malts. It's massively hopped -- in the continuous fashion, of course! -- and the flavor is complemented by the addition of apricots.
After fermentation, the beer is dry hopped with irresponsible amounts of Amarillo hops. The beer has a hoppy aroma, with the apricots playing a supporting role.
The flavor is rich with late hop flavors, and its bitterness is tempered by just the right amount of malt sweetness and fruity undertones from the apricots.

Poured from the bottle into my DFH signature glass. The color is a surprisingly dark shade of amber. I was definitely expecting a lighter color from a fruity springtime beer. Gotta say, the darker color is actually more inviting. A thin off white head forms and lingers for the duration. Thanks to that DFH etching in the bottom. No lacing.
Smell is strong with citrusy, spicy hops. There is also a bit of toasted malt in there as well. The apricot is there, but hard to nail down as apricot, more of a generic fruitiness that could be attributed to the hops.
This is a very well balanced beer on the palate. The hops are there but not quite as strong as you would expect. The malt flavor is pleasantly complex, toasted, bready, sweet and smooth. The apricot comes in nicely and much more defined than the smell.
Mouthfeel is quite slick with hop resin coating your palate along with a decent amount of apricot. Finish is sweet, almost too sweet. This is really the only downside of the beer. Carbonation is good, with a medium body. Maybe a bit heavy and flavorful for the average persons idea of a spring seasonal, but beer geeks will enjoy.
