I'd read about the beer, and wanted to try a Berliner Weisse (never had one before). This seemed like a good start, and it didn't cost much (~$3 for a 12 oz bottle).

Appearance: nice looking; not much head at all, just a little fizz. Straw colored.

Smell: There's a very faint peach smell, but mostly it smells like valeric acid to me (goat-sweat). Not a really appetizing smell, at least to me.

Taste: It's extremely tart. There is a very faint peach taste to it, but mostly it's just sour. There is no balancing sweetness to it at all.

Feel: fairly tangy and acidic.

It's an interesting beer; I like sour beers and food in general, but prefer to have it balanced out with some sweetness. I'd probably really like this beer if I could add some peach syrup or one of the traditional Berliner Weisse syrups to it. As it is, it's a bit rough, although maybe I could get used to it. The price was reasonable, though, for a sour beer.
