Notes:
Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, World Wide Stout is dark, rich, roasty and complex. This Ageable Ale clocks in at 15-20% ABV and has a depth more in line with a fine port than with a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer.

dogfish head world wide stout bottled 2010
Aroma have a bad cold so can't smell anything
Appearance black with deep brown edges, small light tan head, nice lacing
Flavor raisins, dark fruit, coffee, alcohol heat not overpowering, but there
Mouthfeel/Drinkability feels a little over-carbed but not out of bounds. for as big a Beer as it is its pretty thin.
Overall consider myself lucky to pick up a few 2010s very nice stout unbelievable that this is 18%

Poured from 12oz bottle into snifter glass.
A: Pitch black with very minimal head that left almost no lacing. This beer is dark enough in color that no light penetrates it.
S: Big roasted malts, fruits like raisin, date, fig mixed with chocolates. Partly reminded me of really nice dark bread. Alcohol is up front here also.
T: Roasted flavors dominate. Dark fruits, chocolates. Reminds me a bit of chocolate oatmeal. Alcohol is apparent but adds to the experience. Nice sipper. Lots of similarities to BCBS minus the bourbon flavors. A bourbon aged version of this would be an interesting compare.
M: Very thick and full bodied. Almost a bit syrupy. Very little carbonation but to be expected with the high ABV.
O: A very big stout. Lots of complexity to the flavors, and a texture that complements it. Not something I want to drink every day, but a really nice treat once in a while.
