Availability: Rotating. bottle (440), on-tap (41), growler (2). 

Notes:
An ale brewed with a ridiculous amount of pureed raspberries (over a ton of 'em!). Fort has a Belgian-style base, then we follow a similar fermentation process to the one we use on our other super-high ABV beers, 120 Minute IPA and World Wide Stout.

49 IBU
ABV varies from 15-18%.

A-Clear amber carbonated with a nice two finger head, however after a while it starts to go flat.

S-Raspberries, fruit, and some alcohol.

T-Very sweet overwhelming fruit/raspberries. Alcohol is present as well.

M-Medium bodied, not much carbonation, and alcohol heat is there.

O-An interesting beer. If it wasn't for the price tag I'd pick up another and age it for a while. Alcohol was strong fresh.

2009 vintage

Approximately peach colored, slightly hazy, some head that lingers as a ring.

Sugar, alcohol, slight berry note.

Sugar and booze (reminiscent of Samichlaus) definite rasperry finish. Quite floral.

Mouthfeel slick, coats the mouth.

I was quite impressed by this, really. High ABV melds with the fruit, very Samichlausesque.
