Appearance: Deep amber, opaque hue with a light head that likes to stay around.

Smell: Grapes, honey, and spice dominate.

Taste: The tart, slightly bitter grape hits up front with the spice (quite a bit of which is saffron). It opens up to a buttery sweet malt, where the honey really comes into its own. It finishes sweetly.

Mouthfeel: Tart, spicy notes hit up front, but the rounded sweetness really opens up and dominates.

Drinkability: There are quite a few good flavors stirring around in here, but it's not a beer I'd recommend having too often. It's a great novelty and it can pair well with some herb-spiced food, bread and some light cheeses.
