Notes:
Blend two Dogfish Head favorites, add maple syrup and carbonate the mixture naturally. What do you get? 75 Minute IPA.
The carbon dioxide trapped during bottle conditioning gives 75 Minute IPA a soft and velvety mouthfeel. Dry-hopped with whole-leaf Cascades, this complex IPA has been known to inspire pilgrimages to our brewpub.

750 poured into a DFH Snifter
A - Wow - Billowing creamy-white head that lasts...I'm getting impatient waiting for it to recede! All good things I guess... Slightly hazy amber-gold color. Head leaves a sticky lace.
S - A bit of resin and a host of citrus - orange, grapefruit, tropical...very nice.
T&M - Hops are the feature here - Malt? Yeah, it makes a brief appearance in a slightly toasty way. Maple syrup? Well, maybe the maple is lost on me, but there is a hint of sweet trying to battle through this hop profile. The citrus and piney resin seem perfectly balanced, and hit me on different parts of my tongue. The hops are dominant, but not overpowering. Medium body with just a hint of sweet left on the back of the tongue.
O - Great look, great smell, great taste and great feel - an excellent offering from DFH, and me being depressed that only one bottle was to be had.

It's just good enough. As the label will have it, when 60 minute's too little and 90's too much, 75's juust riiight. Well, it just so happens to be - at 7.5 ABV, it's easily something that isn't too overpowering, especially considering it comes in singles and not a 4-pk.
The maple slips right beneath the nose and initial taste, but its presence is definitely accounted for. Its more of a taste than it is a smell, much like the honey in Bell's Hopslam or Great Lakes' Christmas. I like to say it's an 'old' flavor.
Ballgame on, reel in the water, two 75 minutes in the cooler with a few other solid cans of good stuff. It's a boat beer -
Worth seeking out if you're not in the region.

Thanks TravisR!
What a pretty beer... lively amber gold body capped with a creamy few fingers of eggshell head that paints all sorts of lace right up until the end of the glass.
Citric hops, caramel, pine, vanilla, sweet pale fruit flavors... nice.
Interesting. I'm surprised by how well placed the maple syrup addition is. I don't think of that as a very welcomed flavor in the IPA world but this definitely works. Smooth citrus hops with subtly sweet maple that offers the balance of a solid malt backbone without overpowering the hop character of the beer.
Totally caught off guard by this. Really great - thanks Travis!
