Availability: Year-round. bottle (1632), on-tap (121), growler (7), cask (2). 

Notes:
Forget about the car companies, this is the original hybrid. A cross between a Scotch Ale, an India Pale Ale and an American Brown, Indian Brown Ale is well-hopped and malty at the same time (It's magical!).

The beer has characteristics of each style that inspired it: the color of an American Brown, the caramel notes of a Scotch Ale, and the hopping regiment of an India Pale Ale. We dry-hop the Indian Brown Ale in a similar fashion to our 60 Minute IPA and 90 Minute IPA. This beer is brewed with Aromatic barley and organic brown sugar.

Pours a amber brown with a tan head leaving some nice lacing with each sip. Smells of burnt malts, and some hints of hops. The taste is both hoppy and of sweet roasted malts, well balanced with some caramel for good measure. Some where between a session beer and a sipper for drinkablity.

A – Dark with red highlights and an amber head with good retention

S – Coffee, hazelnut and brown sugar

T – Coffee, hazelnut, brown sugar and the slight hops top it off

M – Smooth, light and slight carbonation

O – Great beer, one of my staples for a brown Ale. If you like this type of beer you can’t go wrong here.
