Brewed by Harpoon exclusively for Durgin Park Restaurant at Quincy Market Boston. A FANTASTIC American Pale Ale.
A: Cloudy, unfiltered golden orange. One finger tan head. Nice lacing.
S: The fresh smell of new hops. Some malty undertones.
T: Exceptional. One of the very best Pale Ales I have ever had. Right up there with CH Evans' Pale Ale. Smooth, creamy, perfectly balanced malts against the hops complimented by the alcohol. Exceptional clean, fresh taste.
M: Full, creamy body.
Overall: An OUTSTANDING American Pale Ale. PERFECT compliment to the raw bar offerings and a very nice counterpoint to the outstanding oyster chowder. What a fine, fine beer! Highly recommended - seek this one out when in Quincy Market in Boston.
Serving type: on-tap
