From a 600 mL bottle, thanks Double J,

A: Pours a murky light yellow, quite hazy with a soft cap of white bubbles.

S: Bubblegum ester, wheat, lemon zest.

T: Heavy on wheat malt flavour, some definite clove character with a hint of bananas in the finish.

M: Bit overcarbonated, very frothy and bubbly, gassy. Light-bodied crisp.

O: A soild hefeweizen, not my fave in this style, but drinakble for sure.

Of Baden Baden's year-round beers, this is the one which seems to get away. I've been given a chance, thanks to my friend Sergio, to digest this Brazilian wiessbier. So, on to the beer:

Very pale yellow color, almost like the color of pee. There's a little head retention and a few dots of lace. The aroma brings a trio of good notes; banana, vanilla, and cream. Slightly off-beat from the traditional German style as it's not very spicy and a little sweeter, and this is also confirmed in the beer's taste. The banana note is easy to spot, vague fruitiness and vanilla wafers compliment the banana. The body is pleasantly crisp and light, and such to style, is a very drinkable weiss.

600ml bottle served in an ordinary glass.

A: Pours a pale yellow very cloudy color forming a big white aired fluffly and a little big creamy head. Low retention and some lacings formed and left

S: Traditional German Wheat beer in the nose: Banana esters and bread. Coriander is there but very discrete. Slightly sweet and fruity

T: As the nose, Banana bread and coriander. Slightly sweet in the mouth. Very light bitterness. A little bit metallic and watery for the style

M: Light to medium body. Low to medium carbonation. This is where it lacks personality. It should be a bit heavier in body and a bit more creamy too. A little bit more of head retention could also help

O: Good drinkability. Decent Weizenbier
