The place is a little small, but that makes it quaint. Either way, considering how small the place is, they have quite the variety of beers available. All the food I’ve had has been really good (except the beer cheese - not worth the price). The people there, from my experience, are mostly friendly, though I’ve not had to ask for too much from them yet. They may be a little pricey, but I don’t mind at all. I’d gladly pay higher prices for more places like this. I’ve driven 45 minutes to get there and it’s always worth it. Highly recommended if you can make it.

Vintage Estate Wine and Beer is my favorite place in Ohio for beer. The selection of beer is second to none. I was completely blown away. I happened to get my Westvleteren 12 here too. This is the Willy Wonka of beer. If you are ever in the area, please go to this place! You will not regret it. The prices were reasonable and the service was great too. If I had one critique, it would be their food. It's good, but not great. Who the hell cares anyways. You are there to drink beer!

This place is a combination of 3 or 4 plaza stores. They tore down a couple sections of walls to create walkways. The first section has the wine, the second section has the beer bottles and a bar with a dozen or so taps, the third has a long bar with about 15 taps and the final section has tables. They really have a nice setup. Most craft beer stores are very small, so this was a nice change of pace.
They carry a lot of beers that are hard to find, especially 3Floyds. They always have quality tap selections. This is one of the best craft beer stores I have ever been to. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area.

The best store/pub in the Mahoning county. Their selection is vast and never ending. The tap list is always interesting with unique and rare items, also with the option of a take home Growler fill. Services is excellent, with I'd say about 80% of the workers being decently knowledgeable for the novice beer drinkers. Food is good and reasonably priced followed by a great atmosphere.... this leads to one thing... great beer with good food and friends calls for a good time. That is always one thing that is guaranteed here. The only down fall in my eyes since I run a beer store myself is, be careful what you buy. They do over charge quite a bit for items, especially for rare and sought after beers... overall a very nice place to enjoy beer with your friends

The place can suck you in for a few hours. Walk in to the wine section, turn left and it's a decent sized beer area. The stock wasn't deep in terms of numbers but they did have some random labels that you wouldn't expect to see.

There are some tasting taps in the middle room where you search for your purchases. Through the door further back it opens into a legitimate bar compete with waitress service and outdoor seating. Was there on a Friday night and counted 11 people working so the must clearly get traffic.

Picked up some local stuff in Rust Belt and Thirsty Dog but also couple of Belgian imports, Bruery Hottenroth, Bell's and more.

Man this place has a lot of beer. And at night, it seems quite the popular place. I found plenty of stuff here that I can't find in Pittsburgh. Even some things I didn't see at House of 1,000 Beers (which has darn near everything...or so it seems.) Service was good. I was asked if I needed help, but they realized I was okay after they saw the huge amount of beers I had already pulled. When it comes down to it, this is definitely a good place to hit up for beer. I know some people drive from Pittsburgh just to pick up stuff here. If you make it a large haul, the much lower prices almost make it the same as buying in the 'Burgh; but with a higher variety available.

I go here at least once or twice a month. Can't be beat for selection anywhere near. Flatbreads are great, service is good when not too busy, can be hard to get served when packed on weekends. Staff is very friendly and happy to help pick out any particular style of beer. My only real complaint is parking. Have had to go elsewhere after 6 PM on weekends because there was nowhere to park. Another restaurant and bar in the same plaza doesn't help the parking situation. Still well worth the effort!!

It’s a beer store, halfway between here (at that moment, Pittsburgh) and there (Cleveland). Had received some good praise from across the state line to the east, if ever I’m out this way, sure. Easily accessed in theory, as with someone’s shitty navigator, we came in the long way around. And nicely conveniently opening early enough that I don’t feel the burn of daylight being wasted; other than a killer selection, I can ask for little more...

Triple wide; Wine side, beer store side, and through to the far lounge side. We started in the center square. Shelving up front (imports, holiday and seasonal winter offerings, gift packs, magnums, jeroboams, etc., everything from Fantome Pissenlit to the always unnecessary 9L St Feuillien Tripel), and to the side (American craft singles arranged by brewery. Seems all of the Ohio goods are here; Great Lakes, Hoppin’ Frog, Thirsty Dog, Brew Kettle, Mt. Carmel, Buckeye, Rust Belt, Ohio Brewing, Elevator), with more past the break, and the far wall holding a length of coolers with tap handles mounted above. Reasonably, there is very little décor to a beer store other than to say “Brewery placards adorn”. In the middle of the room sits an awninged up bar counter space with hightop seating for 20 from both sides, and a center round table. 6 packs lining above over bordered strung lighting. 7 raised roundies past there and something of a bar in the rear corner.

12 taps across 2 towers of 6 each on the barback wall over stainless steel, glassware shelved below and growlers on the other wall. Only 11 taps live just now, craft beer from east to west (Otter Creek 10th Anniversary Copper Ale, Magic Hat Humble Patience, DogFishHead Festina Peche, Heavy Seas Loose Cannon, Three Floyds Alpha King & Gumballhead, Bells Best Brown, Killians Irish Stout, Lagunitas Sucks, Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale, Rogue Yellow Snow Ale). See the way I just slipped that Killian’s Stout in there? Yeah, whatever. We have opted to breakfast with a pint of Alpha King. Lovely. $5 pints (does not suck) & growler fills. They also do mead, wine & beer flights here.

And through to the lounge side, a tight little room holding a 12 seat “L” shaped wood bar with a lip and foot box. 4 upright bar towers with 3 taps each along the way. Bourbon & scotch shelved on the barback wall, with a wine cooler in between. Stemmed glassware below and cupboard space to both sides. Pliny, Cantillon Fou Foune and other empties not available displayed tauntingly atop. Beer glassware just off the bar. Adjacent slight bar counter and 5 tables up front. Cool art and a board to the back listing tap selections, ABV’s, pricing, 8, 12 or 16 oz pour size distinctions, and pricing for a 4 oz pour.

12 taps generally not for $5, these are a bit pricier, yep. 2/3 of them are American craft beer from end to end with a few Ohio offerings in between (DogFishHead My Antonia, Southern Tier Krampus, Ohio Brewing Jingle Bell Ale, Great Lakes Christmas, Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of Christmas Ale, New Holland Dragon’s Milk, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel, Ale, Anchor OSA), and the other 1/3 are imports (De Ranke Pere Noel, N’Ice Chouffe, Lindemans Framboise, Porterhouse Oyster Stout). Coulda done a De Ranke Pere Noel but this was to be a one and out. That, and it isn’t noon yet and I’ve already dined on a pint of Alpha King.

Interesting beer store with its collective 2 dozen taps for the drink and growler fill. Tap beer was fresh (for the pint that I had, anyway). Service people engaged and were deflected as necessary. I see why it gets the marks it does. Good selection of the goods and reasonably priced. I pulled me a few each De Dolle Oerbier Reserva ’10’s, De Proef/Tomme Arthur Reserve Signature Ales, and Grass Roots Wachu Saisons and motivated (handsome) Ed towards the door. Great Lakes awaits.

Visited VE early on a Monday afternoon, so we had the place to ourselves. Staff was busy restocking the shelves and reorganizing inventory, but stopped and asked if we needed help and let us know about the upcoming annual beer festival they sponsor.

The beer section of the store was well organized and easy to navigate, with a broad selection of local craft brew from Ohio and eastern PA, as well as other parts of the country. Their selection of imports was particularly interesting, with craft beers available from countries that aren’t typically known for craft beer production – like Sweden and Denmark – as well as more traditional beer producing countries like Belgium and Germany.

Prices were reasonable overall and we had no difficulty gathering a wide selection of different styles to take home with us. We were allowed to break up six-packs to get single bottles, even if they didn’t currently have any single bottles available on the shelves, which was great. While we didn’t see anything particularly rare on this visit, we will definitely visit again, as the sheer variety of different bottles available makes it easy to find something new to try.

This was my first visit to Vintage - a place I've heard very good things about. I found the staff helpful and the beer selection adequate. Admittedly, maybe it was the time of year - right after Christmas - but nothing stuck out at me as being that crazy hard to get. But, that's not to say the selection wasn't broad. The gift packages of Belgian and imported beer was particularly tempting. The beer choices on tap was good too. However, I have to question their choices of glassware for the taster racks - or muffin pans more accurately. We also had some flatbreads, which were pretty tasty to nibble on as well. Overall, Vintage was an interesting place and worth a stop if you are in the area.
