22oz bomber that I had for "a few" months in the back of my fridge, that being said, the bottle is about 5 months old so that is being taken into consideration. (Forgot I had this beauty.)
Pours a hazy yellow/orange in the glass with light, barely detectable head on top, minimal to no carbonation to speak of. Smells of floral hops with a little bit of medicinal malt (which tells me this has most likely peaked already). After a taste, the beer has definitely peaked as the up front malt characteristic is stronger than I remember, the hops seem to be a little overtaken by the hints of malt. Bummer. Picking up the hoppy citrus detected in the smell, slight alcohol warming, a little tart (ever so lightly) - more like a mild tart zing at the end. The finish bitter but I'm not enjoying the malt profile in this and remember it to be much better when it was fresh. (Go figure, huh?)
This is a very drinkable beer and one that I would enjoy keeping on hand more often. I think Left Coast has done a very good job with this beer.
Unfortunately, since the bottle is a little aged, the malts are more prevalent than a fresh one. Although, over all, I really liked this beer when it was fresh so I'm trying to strike a fair review considering that minor drawback. My scores would probably be .5 higher accross the board with a fresh one. Nevertheless, I think it's worth seeking out if your a hop head.

The hop juice by left coast is decent. Typical of most DIPAs where the hops are counter balanced by sweet malt. The beer poured a copper semi hazy color with white head that Did not lace. The scent was subtle hops with sweet biscuity backdrop. The taste is a decent balance between, my guess semcoe hops, and sweet malt. The mouthfeel is full body with decent carbonation. Overall it was good and I'm glad to have tried it.
