Another British style that has a roasted nut-like aroma. Brewed with a number of dark malts, which lend a complex malt character. This beer does not have a lot of hop bitterness, only enough for balance.

This was kind of along the same lines as Brewer's Alley's Oatmeal stout. They seem to be more skilled at the lighter end of the beer spectrum.
Normal looking. Dark, almost opague color, with a small tannish head.
A better aroma than the stout. You can pick up some of the nuttiness & malt in this one.
The flavor & mouthfeel are kind of tame. This can be a good thing when you're trying to appeal to an uneducated public with Bud/Miller/Coors tastes, though. I found if I swished it around in my mouth a bit, that that brought out the hops and creaminess. Interesting.
Brown ales are usually pretty drinkable, and so is this one. However, brown ales also tend to be pretty medicore/middle-of-the-road type beers, and so is this brew.

Tap
Pours a deep cloudy brown, caramel translucent around the edges. Rim of off-white head.
Smells of oak, oatmeal, hazelnut, and roasted coffee.
Tastes of cocoa, caramel, coffee, and nutty malts. Bit of walnut.
Medium body with stinging carbonation on the tongue.
Very nice stout, great flavor and aroma. Definitely worth trying.
