App: Super frothy head, but it dies quickly. Light gold color, the slightly darker color I associate with the czech pilseners.

Smell: A touch of sweet honey followed by a strong bite of floral hops. perhaps a touch of herb, but mostly floral, perhaps clover.

Taste: Biting up front with strong, bitter hops and little malt character. The flavor of this beer is in the finish: smooth husky malt with touches of caramel. A faint white grape skin is noticeable in the finish. The hop flavor is slightly metallic but mostly indistinguishable and just presents itself as bitter.

Medium body from the strong carbonation that ends watery, but it has a nice creamy mouthfeel. Odd that it can be both.

It’s everything it should be. Pours clear and gold with a big frothy head and bubbles up bombing from the bottom. Fell off to splotchy,soapy lace and a thin layer on top. Smells like skunk. Lemon underneath and pale malts with a touch of caramel and honey. Earthy and musty with some pepper in the back. Taste is crisp, clean, buttered bread and biscuit. Good malt sweetness and finishes with some earth and bitter for good measure. It’s a touch metallic with a strong aftertaste. Classic.
